The addition of tea simple syrup makes this cocktail a southern whiskey treat.
Prep Time: 5 minutes Yield: One cocktail
2 ounces Southern Bourbon Whiskey
1-2 ounces tea simple syrup
1/2 ounce sweet vermouth
Splash of both orange and angostura bitters
Cherry and/or orange slices
Combine whiskey, tea simple syrup, vermouth, and bitters in shaker filled with ice.
STIR well and strain into glass, serving neat.
Garnish as desired.
