About Paula

Paula earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Memphis. During her career, she has worked as a model, speaker, trainer, sales professional, chef instructor, and entrepreneur. She loves hiking, gardening, barre, collecting eclectic art, and all things which transform a house into a warm and welcoming home. She has a treasured son and daughter-in-law, and two wildly lovely grandchildren. A passionate animal advocate and dachshund fanatic, she lives in Huntsville, Alabama with her rescue Izzy. Her beloved Barnabus crossed the rainbow bridge in August 2022. We welcomed Henry this spring.

Background

Of Macedonian descent, Paula’s paternal grandfather Tony owned and operated restaurants in Michigan and Florida, and her grandmother Veska was a prodigious old world baker. Her father co-owned a restaurant in the theater district of Detroit before relocating to Huntsville to work as an aerospace engineer for NASA’s space program. Her mother excelled at scratch baking, and made the world’s finest caramel cake.

A Born "Cheff"

Paula Naumcheff's obsession with all things culinary began early in life. Through decades of self study and professional training, she developed her talent and reputation for both sweet and savory fare. A highlight of her career was continuing the legacy of her restaurateur grandfather with her beloved restaurant, Sweet Bistro.

A lifestyle influencer and content creator, chef instructor, and model, Paula resides in Huntsville, Alabama.
