Background
Paula earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Memphis. She attended Memphis Culinary Academy. During her career, she has worked as a restaurant owner, chef instructor, speaker, sales professional, and model. Of Macedonian descent, Paula’s paternal grandfather Tony owned and operated restaurants in Michigan and Florida, and her grandmother Veska was a prodigious old world baker. Her father co-owned a restaurant in the theater district of Detroit before relocating to Huntsville to work as an aerospace engineer for NASA’s space program. Her mother excelled at scratch baking, and made the world’s finest caramel cake.
Paula enjoys hiking, gardening, barre workouts, and collecting eclectic art. A passionate animal advocate and dachshund fanatic, she lives in Huntsville, Alabama with her rescues Izzy and Henry. Her beloved Barnabus crossed the rainbow bridge in August 2022. #adoptdontshop
